Abbeyhorn is a UK businesses that specializes in high-end shoehorns. Shoehorns aren’t known for being particularly exciting, so I thought it would be a fun challenge to advertise them to a younger audience.

Abbeyhorn: One step ahead

Target Audience: Gen Z and Millennials

Objective: Get people using shoe horns for convenience rather than necessity

Insight: People enjoy the feeling of optimizing their day, down to the last second

SMCI: A little time saved each day can make a big difference.

Tone: Motivational, but in a silly way

To target Gen Z and Millennials, I wanted to create a website that would get people thinking about the SMCI. Because it’s a branded ad-site, I wouldn’t expect the target audience to take it very seriously, so I put an emphasis on addressing people’s “joke answers” with personalized results messages to encourage sharing.
